There are 52 weekends in a single year. That sounds like a ton. But to a photographer that is not nearly enough. Of those 52 weekends available, I however, only have 21 Saturdays off. Which means from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017 I only have twenty one Saturdays to spend with my husband. Pretty crazy to think about. Quite honestly the thought of it makes me tired. Ha! Logan just got a new job that requires him to be at work in St. Louis meaning he gets up at 4:30am, comes home at 5:30 and goes to bed at 8:30pm. Right now I get to see him about 3 hours a day. And when Spring officially hits and shoots are closer to the evening it will be even less. So when I saw that Logan had this weekend off I wanted to make sure it was well spent because our weekends together are numbered. Luckily, this February weather has turned out to be more like late April than anything so it made getting out and enjoying it super easy. This is a short blog but I wanted to share a couple images from our day today. We had a blast and Lola loved Elephant Rocks and Johnson's Shut-Ins! We also found out that Lola's hidden talent is rock climbing. She's crazy good, ya'll! I love the time we get to spend together and it is always exactly what I need.
Logan said, "Babe, nothing about this picture looks remotely real." He wasn't finding the same humor I saw. Haha!
