In the years past I haven't photographed many winter weddings. It just usually isn't that popular for weddings. But this year I have had several and literally all of them have been gorgeous!! As someone who loves wintertime and the cold, shooting in it isn't that big of a deal. But when Missouri decides it wants to break records for the longest duration of days with temperatures under freezing, it gets tough. This group right here are some of the toughest people I know. You can't see it in the pictures but there are Hot Hand packs in each of their hands and shaking from the cold. Days prior I told Taylor it was going to be cold and to give me the okay at what point she was ready to call it quits. Folks, we shot for over 2 hours in the 23 degree weather!! I would just keep asking her, "Do you want to continue?" and every time she would say "Let's keep going!". Because of that we got some of the most gorgeous images! I just kept telling them all how proud I was and how worth it it was going to be in the end! And boy it was totally worth it! These are some of my favorite images! Thank you to everyone who put up with me during that cold portrait time and to Taylor and Sam for having me as their photographer! I wish you all the love in the world and a very warm honeymoon!
